37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in
their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and
brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins….. Acts
2:37-38a
At the preaching of Peter, these listeners where pricked to the heart. Peter did not prick their hearts, the Holy
Spirit did. What is the solution to the conviction of the Holy Spirit that they
were experiencing? Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (and the
Father and Holy Spirit—Matt 28:19) for the REMISSION of sins.
