Samson’s name means—“there is a
second chance”
Noah means “repose, consolation”
Gideon means “he that bruise or
breaks, a destroyer”

repentance of the Lord”
Nimrod means “rebellion”
Daniel means “God is my judge”
David means “Beloved”
Each of those men lived up to their names.

Israel “who prevails with God” Not independently, but in the Lord.
Saul “demanded, lent, ditch, or
death” to Paul “small, little.” Paul considered himself very little. He was
humble. His entire identity rested in the Lord Jesus Christ who had called him
and redeemed him from his past.
