A Great Hymn

Jesus, Use Me

Jack & Billy C.                                                                 Jack & Billy Cambell

Dear Lord, I’ll be a witness, If you will help my weakness, I know that I’m not worthy Lord of Thee; By eyes of faith I see Thee, Upon the cross of Calv’ry, Dear Lord I cry let me Thy servant be. Jesus use me, and O Lord don’t refuse me, For surely there’s a work that I can do; And even tho it’s humble, Help my will to crumble, Tho the cost be great, I’ll work for you.

I’ll stand for Thee dear Jesus, ‘Tho death may come my way, I’ll spread the Gospel to the fallen here; But if it be Thy will Lord, To go across the sea, Lord help me to be willing to say yes. Jesus use me, and O Lord don’t refuse me, For surely there’s a work that I can do; And even tho it’s humble, Help my will to crumble, Tho the cost be great, I’ll work for you.

He’s the Lily of the valley, The bright and morning Star, He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul; He’s the beautiful Rose of Sharon, He’s all the world to me, But best of all, He is my coming King. Jesus use me, and O Lord don’t refuse me, For surely there’s a work that I can do; And even tho it’s humble, Help my will to crumble, Tho the cost be great, I’ll work for you.

Watch out!

"If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword'; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:19-20 NKJV

   Christians, we live in a culture were rebellion is uplifted. Refusing to be obedient and submissive to authority is considered good! Beloved, we are headed for destruction! We cannot rebel and refuse God. His plans are perfect, His Word contains all the answers: the answers to politics, the answers to government, the answers to how we are to live our lives and interact with each other. Please be willing, please be obedient, for that is where humility, blessing, and communion with the Lord lie. There is no other way to God but by repentance and submission.

"'Wash yourselves,
make youselves clean;
put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Reprove the oppressor,
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow." Isaiah 1:16-17 NKJV
