It’s About God, Not
Mary
Too all my catholic friends out there, I
know that the title may be a bit offensive; however, that title simply
summarizes the teaching of these two verses. It is not Mary who we should bless
and exalt for being the mother of Jesus. No, instead, we those who are blessed
are those who hear the Word of God and keep it. Jesus said elsewhere:
If
ye love me, keep my commandments.
John
14:15 (KJV)
If you love Christ, you will hear and keep
His Words and you will be blessed by a relationship with Him. It is not about
Mary or anyone else—it is about Jesus, the Lord!
