Commit it to the Lord
Give God your regret, unrighteous motives, lies, gossip, and bitterness.
Anything that is ungodly in your life should be turned over to Him—as the song
says “surrender all!” Surrender it because you
cannot pay the debt for your sin. You can only accept the gifts that God gives
you, two of which are salvation and the power to walk in the light as He is in
the light.
“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it
in the lusts thereof. Neither
yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield
yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as
instruments of righteousness unto God.” Romans 6:12-13 KJV
