For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is
profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that
which is to come. 9 This
is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
Bodily exercise
seems the focus of our culture. Getting slim and trim does not mean that you
are healthy thought. It is far more important, to be balanced spiritually. When
you are at peace with God through Jesus Christ and in relationship with Him and
in fellowship with the Body of Christ, your life will be much better than a
stressed out struggle for success. It is a faithful saying that we should
accept: bodily exercise profits little, but godliness is profitable unto all
things; having a promise of life with Christ now and eternal life that is to
come.
