Thought 316: Remember me (a poem) from Ryan's devotional book series Thougths

Thought 316

Remember me (a poem)

…remember me

Remember my brief life, my laugh, my smile.

Remember all I did while I was with you . . . which was but for a while.

Now I have no fun, in this afterlife.

I cry, I weep, I wail . . . I am lonely . . .

I see God, I see His servants rejoicing and feasting, but

I…I have chosen…..one of the other many paths.

O dear friends all I did was in vain.

I left the Lord in High School, I went my own way.

While I lived I had the life! –

A Harley…girls…money…fun, regardless of the situation….

...but none of that matters now.

The drugs, the sex, the craziness bought me only this:

A one way ticket to Hell!

If Christians really want others to come to heaven with them,

Then why didn’t they try harder to win me to their side?

Those Christians have it all...now.

O dear readers, REMEMBER ME.

Don’t come to this place; choose the better way before it is too late!

Forgive and forget, obey and proceed, fight the good fight and finish the race that

Is set before you…

…You still have time, you are still alive…

…don’t make the wrong choice like me…

…don’t follow your heart, rather do whatever it is that God wants you to do,

Because it will pay off…you won’t be HERE.

Repent and Believe!
Accept the SAVIOR.

Thought 259: Love--you can's spend enough time on this topic from Ryan's devotional book series Thoughts

Thought 259

Love – you can’t spend enough time on this topic

A changed life shows Christ’s love. His love is a firm love, yet merciful, forgiving and non-compromising love.

Love is the key to forgiveness and true love of God and others fulfills all the commandments.

Read John 3:16-17 and all of 1 John.

Thought 258: Birth Control--a means of making man a god from Ryan's devotional book series Thoughts

Thought 258

Birth Control – a means of making man a god

Birth control is just plain wrong. It is a form of abortion, and a slap in God’s face. That pill is used for “safe sex,” child “control” and for selfish pride. Those pills are used to take God’s GIFT OF CHILDREN!! Children are a blessing (Psalm 127:3-5, Matthew 18:10, Mark 10:14, Mark 9:37) yet if you have more than two you are thought of as strange today. God said to be fruitful and multiply. If we, as humans, are supposed to fill the earth then why do we keep taking matters into our own hands. A woman does not conceive by chance, because chance doesn’t exist with God.

Man is not an animal, we are not supposed to propagate, rather populate BY GOD’S STANDARDS which means sex within marriage.

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” Psalms 127:3-5 KJV

God intends for Christians to desire large families. This is the desire that He placed in the Children of Israel and has historically been continued by Christians who love the Lord through the ages since our Lord’s ascension.

God’s ways bring multiplication, fruit and growth

Satan’s ways bring destruction, and death

Call for Prayer and Fasting

"Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O Lord." Psalms 25:7 NIV1984

The situation of our nation, America, is grave. Our sins are mounted right up there with Sodom and Gommorah. Readers, I call out to you to pray. Please fast. Please ask the Lord to not remember our nations sins and our rebellious ways, ask Him to remember our nation according to His love. Pray for an outpouring of His mercy and that many may come to Him in a great revival.
We must humble ourselves and pray and seek the Lord's face, or our nation won't last (2 Chronicles 7:14), but we have His promise right here in the Word that if we do, He will heal our land. Halleluajah and Amen!
Please start off by spending some time contemplatively reading all of Psalm 25 and Ephesians 6:10-20 (please pray for me and all in spiritual leadership as Paul requests in verses 19 and 20).
Please pray!
