Fruitfulness

Fruitfulness

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10 (KJV)

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Psalms 127:3 (KJV)

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.

Psalms 128:3-4 (KJV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance

Gal 5:22-23 (KJV)

Fruitfulness differs from productivity in that fruitfulness is reproduces itself, it yields a harvest, it multiplies. God has long been in the business of commanding and blessing the multiplication of His people. He told Adam and Eve, Noah, the Israelites and others to be fruitful and multiply. In other words, get to work in things that are profitable (aka such as a farm or livestock that reproduce themselves and grow with time and careful attention) and have babies with your wives!

Different from Productivity in that

fruitfulness REPRODUCES itself.

May you be fruitful in your family, in what you put your hand to, and in the things that are eternal—the fruit of the Spirit which are the very character traits of Almighty God.
