Discipline
“Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh
the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.” Proverbs 15:10 KJV
When one falls away from Christ and
leaves the narrow road after walking on it, stern discipline awaits him.
Scripture says that the Lord’s punishment is much worse for those who have
known the Lord and then rejected him and gone astray. There are “levels” of
intensity of judgment in Hell. Scripture teaches that some will receive a
greater judgment than others. May we see clearly that those who depart from the
path of the Lord will be disciplined and those who turn from Him will be
punished.
