But the high places were not taken
away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

Sometimes, even
when revival and repentance has come into an individual’s heart, not everything
under the command is reformed. For example, godly King Asa did much to
encourage Judah to turn back to God; however, he never destroyed the high
places (places of worship usually on mountains).
May we glory in
the Lord that a Brother or Sister has turned to the Lord with their whole
heart, but may we not get caught up on the one thing they fail to do as they
should.
