The Lie of Secret
The Lie of Secret is everywhere today. Even though some of us no better,
we live as if God will not see what we do in Secret—and that we will not be
punished if we do things in privately that we ought not to do.
…thy Father, which seeth in secret,
shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:18 (KJV)
God sees what we do in secret and the place to turn when life gets tough
is not the darkness of seclusion, but to the altar. Asking for prayer, seeking
the Lord fervently, and gathering with mature Believers is the place to turn.
The Lord is among His people and we are to lift each other up—rejoicing…and
mourning together.
