Thought 318
Pity Party
Have you ever spent a
great amount of time in a pity party?
Maybe you are asking,
“what is a pity party?” A pity party is when you feel like everything and
everyone is against you: you are constantly telling yourself “poor, little, old me _____.” You naturally
will have a pitiful party when you dwell on words about your poor, little old
self—it happens because of the principle of Focus that we talked about earlier.
Why don’t you take your pity party, which is a form of worry, and give it to
God in prayer. Then take a minute to nourish your soul by reading a few
Scriptures and meditating on them.
