Read John 14.
“And this is the
confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his
will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we
know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 1 John 5:14-15 KJV
*Please note that we can ask God anything, but
when we ask according to His will,
God gives it to us. If we ask with a manipulative spirit, God knows that and
will not answer our prayer (see James 4:1-3). But how will we know the will of
God? By intimately knowing Jesus Christ and to know Him we must spend time with Him.
