What is a Never Ending Song to God?
What is a Never Ending Song to God? Appropriately, Jack, a fictional character, found what the answer was after praying and reading his Bible. He determined that a never ending song of worship was his life. The song was being written with every choice he made, and there were ups and downs in the melody; from his birth to his death a song was being written by the best record producer ever – God.
I have sung unto the Lord on many occasions, but that isn’t real worship. Yes, I can pour out my heart to God in song, but true worship is living a life of worship. This is comprised of trying to think like Jesus thinks, following the Holy Spirit, and just plain putting into practice what you know is the truth of God’s Word. Are you really worshipping God with the never ending song of your life?
Noah Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language defines worship as:
1. To honor with extravagant love and extreme submission ; as a lover. (Boldness added)
Think about that definition . . . . do you love God extravagantly? Are you extremely submissive to the Lord? . . . . Do you need to repent? Spend some time in His presence.
