Praying for Future Generations
I have heard about praying for the future generations that will come through your children; but I have seldom done it. Right now, please take some time to pray for your (future) children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and more. Those kids will be real men and women one day and the life they live will either be one with Christ as the center or one with their pride as the center. They need your prayers!
Are you stuck and don’t know what to pray for? I suggest simply starting by praying for them to have a deeper relationship with God than you ever had and a greater hunger for Him than you ever experienced.
“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV
